May 2013 Kitsuke (Part 2)

For the next kitsuke time, I just reversed the ensemble. I wore my faux denim kimono and flower hiraki reversible nagoya obi. Actually, the obi fabric was intended to make a yukata kimono, but finally it became nagoya obi ^w^. I already had 5 yukata - but still willing to have more. We went to Food Fezt in Jalan Kaliurang. Hubby ordered okonomiyaki he never tasted before ^w^ and other side dishes (I forgot ^^;;). I chose pepes jamur and nasi goreng. We took the pictures at night also (duh!) also, after we had dinner, so I apologize for the disheveled kitsuke.   Weird bulky obiage!

May 2013 Kitsuke (Part 1)

There was major change in my life during May 2013. I'm married ^w^. After wedding reception, hubby and I went to Yogya for spending some time together hihihi. I guess now we are allowed to become bakappuru or go full lovey dovey. I braced this chance to wear kimono as much as possible. Oh, my mother-in-law, my cousins-in-law and some hubby's family-related also spent some time in Yogya. We - just two of us - went dating and had nice dinner together. Arigatou, Hubby ^w^. I chose to dress up and doll up my pink yukata this time. I also wore my recent blue shawl and my rockability faux gray denim hiraki reversible nagoya obi. I also wore my pink kanzashi hair band. All pictures were taken at night. Hubby had trouble adjust the stability of the camera so he put tripod. The pictures were taken longer than usual. He also asked me to pose into various way hahaha.... I think I need to train posing in front of camera more often. Gotta improve my obiage tying skill :...

Round 1 Station 3: Rinei, Bandung Jawa Barat

You can see the full album in HERE . You can also like the page and witness the kimono has its journey throughout Indonesia ^w^. Toriaezu, now I present you some of the pictures taken for Rinei ;). She made two ensembles: with nagoya obi and with navy hakama.

Watching Oz in Kimono with My Rabu-rabu Kareshi

My Kareshi (now my hubby) went to Yogyakarta this March and of course we set a LOT of dates ;). We went to the theater and wathed Oz the Great and Powerful (a Disney movie). We actually expected to watch some action movies, but at that time there were none available....too bad....Anyway, we actually took some pictures for our marriage prerequisites and I never heard there is anyone take their marriage administrative picture with kimono :P. He looks great with everything he wears! How come?!?! I love this leaning pose :P. As for the kimono, I wore my pink iromuji with one kamon, paired it up with my rockability black camelia obi. The accessories were regular ones, including my black-striped blue scarf as obiage, pale blue obijime, white tabi, gold zouri with orange accent (I need to buy more zouri) and white polkadot haneri. Yes, I haven't gotten any juban yet T^T. I got a new haircut, hime cut. We both went to the same hairdresser to had our hair cut ;). My kare...
